My journey to The Gambia

Travelling is a true enrichment.

In nov/dec 2013 I travelled to The Gambia for four weeks for the fourth time.

This country and continent have stolen my heart and keep drawing me back there.

The incredible people, their culture, their way of life, the nature, the weather.

It’s very different from what we are used to here in The Netherlands, which is exactly what makes me love the country so much.

Life might be about accomplishments, earnings, belongings, status and so forth.

The essence is about family, love and survival, at least that’s their way of life.
